Headquartered in Singapore and wholly owned by Temasek Holdings, SJ was formed in 2015 through the merger of Surbana International, the building and development arm of Singapore's Housing Development Board (HDB), and Jurong International, the technical services arm of Singapore's JTC Corporation. For over 50 years, SJ has played an instrumental role in developing Singapore's world renowned urban, industrial and infrastructure landscape.
